Equal parts documentary and visual display, Explore the Roar follows the leading members of Lee’s Association dragon and lion dance team as they reveal their personal association with the team, what it means to each of them, and what they hope it can become — all while practicing their ancient craft in front of the camera. Explore the Roar brings to light a seldom told story of important cultural heritage within a growing community in Portland.
